Betonovo je vasica v občini Sodražica, ki se nahaja na nadmorski višini 868 metrov. Vas je poimenovana po nekom z imenom Bitogoj, ki so mu skrajšano rekli Biton. Zgodovina pravi, da je bil Biton morda celo ustanovitelj naselja.

Vas je obdana z gozdovi in hribi. Na Betonovem najdemo nekaj kmetij. Vas je znana po svoji mirni in idilični atmosferi, ki je kot nalašč za oddih od mestnega vrveža.

Prebivalci Betonovega so gostoljubni in prijazni ljudje, ki so ponosni na svojo vas in njeno zgodovino.
